Question Your Thoughts

I’m a fan of  what’s known as: The Work of Byron Katie. Katie, as she’s know to the people who love and admire her, because she has some pretty powerful and life changing concepts.  Below are the four questions that she developed that have helped people worldwide (even Oprah!) to lead lives with less suffering because of their thoughts. These questions provide a simple system for freeing ourselves from our painful repetitive thinking. When you write down your stressful thoughts, then follow with answering these four questions, it becomes possible to  find peace. I invite everyone to give this process a try and you can do so for free here:

#1: Is it true? (Yes or no. If no move to 3.)

#2: Can you absolutely know that it’s true? (Yes or no.)

#3: How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought?

#4: Who would you be without the thought?

The Turnaround: Turn around the concept you just questioned. Here is your opportunity to experience the opposite of what you originally believed. is where you will find all the instructions to take your own “inventory” as it’s referred to. I can’t say enough about how much I’ve benefited from this simple exercise.

I can tell you that looking into her enlightened and happy sparking eyes, was something I will always cherish and never forget. This women is incredible and has helped millions of people with her wisdom.
