Life Musings

I turned 60 years old last October, 2018, and I couldn’t be more proud of the life I’ve created and the people that I love. To me, each and every birthday is a gift. I recently lost my Dad on January 6th, 2019. He was 86 years old and one of the greatest Dad’s ever. We worked side by side together for 27 years at our family run company. He the General Manager, me the Office Manager. In our seasonal business we employ up to 40 employees. My Dad, Chuck, was not only my father, but my best friend. He knew how to live life to the fullest and even golfed 18 holes three days before he died. His aneurism ruptured the day he golfed those 18 holes. He never did anything “just a little”….he loved life, worked hard and played harder. It’s not going to be the same without him in my life. Since my divorce, he was my “go-to” person to help me out with just about everything and anything that I needed help with. He never minded being the “problem solver”, as a matter of fact, I know he enjoyed being there for me. I am so very blessed to have had this incredible man in my life for 60 years. For that I am eternally grateful. Love never dies and I know that to be true. I miss you already Dad and I will love you forever. Love, Kathy XO
